CtxCore Brain · MCP server

An MCP server for your company’s business rules.

CtxCore Brain is a remote MCP server. Connect it to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor or your own agents, and every one of them reads the same approved business rules, in their current version. You don’t host or build anything.

Why a server and not a file?

Most teams start with a prompt, a project file or a SKILL.md with their rules pasted in. That works until a rule changes. Then there are five copies, and nobody knows which one Claude is reading today.

An MCP server answers live. When an owner approves a new version of a rule in Brain, the next question from any connected AI gets the new version. Drafts and open change requests stay out until someone approves them.

What the server offers

These are the tools your AI sees when it connects. Reading is included in every plan and does not use up chat questions.

search_rules
Finds the published business rules that fit a question.
get_rule
One rule with its reason, owner and version.
list_topics / get_topic
The areas of your company, such as returns or pricing, and the rules in each.
list_skills / get_skill
Repeatable tasks and the rules each task has to follow.
get_process
A workflow across several people, with the tasks and rules at each step.
answer
Answers a concrete situation from your rules, with a status: answer, ask first or hand over to a person. From Business, counts as a chat question
propose_change
The AI suggests a new or corrected rule. The owner decides.
flag_rule
Marks a rule that looks wrong or outdated, so the owner checks it.

Connect the AI your team already uses

Claude works with custom connectors on every plan. ChatGPT needs Business, Enterprise or Edu. Copilot connects through an agent in Copilot Studio. Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and your own agents use a personal token.

Questions about the MCP server

What is an MCP server?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools and data. An MCP server offers tools, and the AI decides when to call them. Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and most coding tools can connect to remote MCP servers over HTTPS.

Do we have to run the MCP server ourselves?

No. Brain runs the server for you in the EU (Hostinger in Frankfurt). You add it as a connector in your AI tool and sign in.

Can the AI change our rules over MCP?

No. It can read, propose a change or flag a rule. A rule only changes when its owner approves the change in Brain.

What does it cost?

MCP is included in every Brain plan, from Solo Entrepreneur at €99 a month. Normal use doesn’t count against your chat questions. Answers for agents (the answer tool) come with Business. Your AI subscriptions stay separate.
